The ICPNC brings together leading practitioners in child protection to enhance Canadian organizations capacity to ensure results-oriented, innovative and effective child protection programming.
Our Core Objectives are:
- Strengthen evidence-informed Child Protection programming among Canadian International Development NGOs, with an emphasis on rights-based approaches, safe participation, and accountability to children.
- Engage Canadian and international stakeholders – including the Government of Canada, coalitions, the public, and other key stakeholders – to increase their awareness, prioritization, and action on Child Protection issues.
- Improve Child Safeguarding and Protection policies and procedures among Canadian International Development NGOs.
